Top 5 reasons to head to the beach:
1. Leave the stress behind. At the beach we can leave our work behind, and take full advantage of time with our families and ourselves.
2. The beach provides better atmosphere, and for us in Oregon better air. Take a walk on the beach and fill your body with cleaner air.
3. Dig your feet into the sand, build sand castles, and watch the sunrise over the water. None of that sounds too bad to me.
4. Explore all the wonderful sea life that exists. I love watching the starfish and sand dollars that move around in the tide pools.
5. One of are favorites things about the beach is all the salt-water taffie, yum!
Every wondered why visiting the beach was so darn relaxing? Well, there are probably many reasons that we can think of. For me it’s just about leaving the city and finding the calmness and tranquility that comes with the beach.
The beach inspires insight and reflection. It is often a place where I do a lot of thinking and writing. It also provides a sense of mystery and excitement that is great for couples.
My son who is very young loves traveling to the beach also. He is usually a very energetic, non-stop boy, but at the beach he truly finds peace and calmness as well.
