Since summer is right around the corner I would like to address a common problem that many people often encounter when they are spending more time outside in the warmer weather; bugs! It is almost impossible to get through the whole summer without a least one bit.
Here are a few ideas that I would like to share to repel these pesky bugs.
This year I heard an interesting take on sheets of fabric softener. Rub those sheets on you and your good to go.
Try buying some Citronella soap. We all know that those citronella candles will help keep mosquitoes at bay around us, but adding this soap in the summer can greatly help also. You can also burn citronella incense and oil.
We have planted marigolds around our garden bed. The reason being marigolds are great in the yard as a bug repellent because the flowers give off an odor bugs do not like.
Try taking Vitamin B1. Many experts agree that taking 100mg of Vitamin B1 a day between April and October.
And last, but not least try to not eat bananas if you are headed out doors for an extent time. The sent of bananas is giving off through the skin, and as we all know bananas are sweet. What bug doesn’t like a sweet smell!
Some great commercial products to look at that offer a safer approach to the traditional bug repellents.
