Picking your nose is good for you. Your nose works like a filter and stops the germs from entering your airways via your nose. The Austrian long specialist Prof. Dr. Friedrich Bischinger claims that when you eat this biotope and it reaches the intestines it increases your physical resistance. (Hmm that is interesting)

Ah the apple!
Eat one apple a day. According to the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition there is a 36% chance of surviving a stroke when you eat one apple a day.

If you have high blood pressure: Have an 8-ounce glass of 100% orange juice. A study in the New England Journal of Medicine reports that increasing the amount of potassium and calcium in your diet can significantly lower your blood pressure. Why? According to Dr. Linda Van Horn, a professor of preventive medicine at Northwestern University, the minerals protect your kidneys from high levels of sodium – a known high blood pressure risk. Calcium-fortified orange juice is a good source of both calcium and potassium. It’s also a good source of Vitamin C, and people with the most Vitamin C in their blood streams are 40 percent LESS likely to die of heart disease than people with low levels of vitamin C.

Need a new diet plan…
Start eating with your non-dominant hand. Research shows that forcing yourself to do something that doesn’t come naturally is an easy way to beef up your self-control. That’s because your brain has to focus more attention on the task. So it naturally slows down, and blocks out all distraction. In other words: You’ll eat more slowly and have an easier time resisting the urge for seconds.

Give up your daily soda. Why? Because it’ll stop you from getting sick! That’s the word from health experts at Columbia University. They say that just 100 grams of sugar – that’s the amount in one can of soda – can hinder your white blood cells’ ability to kill cold and flu germs by up to 40 percent! So ditch the soda if you want to stay healthy.
