Feng shui shows us how our spaces can be designed and arranged in order to give us the right balance and harmony. Simple things such as the position in which we place our desk, can become determinative to the harmony we feel in that space, and affect factors such as the concentration we may have when working in that space. So, who that said lets look at some practical ideas for creating a space for a more harmonious career.
Most of us want a solid, happy, and motivating career. We also want a career that is stable both physically and financially. If you need help finding a job, getting a promotion, or you need more business the art of feng shui can help. Let’s talk about a few step we can take to make that happen!
You must first get a familiar understand of the bagua. The bagua is used in feng shui to find out which part of your home or office correlates with a particular situation in your life.
What ever side of your home has the main door on it, is where you will lay the side of the bagua with career, helpful people, and knowledge over.
1. If you have fireplace in the Fame area of your house, use it often and see your good reputation expand. You can also use candles, string of lights, or add stronger bulbs in your feng shui Fame area. Make sure there is no water in this area of your home. This will insure that you don’t encounter any bad reputations.
2. Place a bell or a chime in the Help People area, or around your front door. If you are hanging it make sure you hang it on red string cut into segments of 9. (Example, 9 inches, 18 inches, 27 inches, etc.). Bells and chimes help to break up stagnant energy to get it moving. This is what you want to bring in some good chi.
3. If you can place your desk both at home and in the house in the commanding position. When in this position, you face the door from the far side of the room but are not directly in front of the it. The part of the room diagonally farthest from the entry offers is offend the best Command Position. Also, the right Commanding Position provides a solid wall behind you for support.
